No, our policy is a 2 night minimum stay.

Check-in is from 4pm. We ask that you and your guests don’t arrive any earlier to give us time to prepare a luxury stay with us. Extra cleaning due to Covid-19 is very time consuming and we need to make sure that every hut is fully sanitised to exceptionally high standards.

On arrival, please follow the signs to Hollow Gill Huts and find your key in the key box on the side of your hut.

Our check-out time is 10am, unless you have requested a late riser check-out in which case it is 11am.

You can leave the keys inside your hut on check-out.

To give us enough time to make the huts perfect for your stay, we don’t offer an early check-in option.

You can buy a late check-out when booking which means you can stay until 11am on your departure day. This costs £10 extra.

Dogs are allowed to stay at Hollow Gill Huts in our well-equipped kennels where an evening meal and water is available to ensure your pooch has a great stay with us too.

Our kennels cost £7 per night for each dog you want to bring on your stay. You can book this as an extra when booking your hut.

We don’t allow them onto the site and in the huts to make sure they stay luxury for other guests to enjoy, unless they are a guide dog.

Please also make sure that your dog is brought to the kennels directly from your car as we have livestock on the farm and allowing them to run loose could cause a problem.

We don’t currently have the facilities to charge electric vehicles onsite. However, you can use a 3-pin plug at the farm if you need to. We’re happy to offer this as complimentary, subject to availability and farm activity.

Payments are made through our secure payment providers Square Up. Payments can be made with most major debit and credit cards – Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and you can also use Apple & Google Pay.

It’s not an issue if you want to add extras on once you’ve booked. Please click here to view our extras available and once you’ve decided, email info@hollowgillhuts.co.uk to let us know what you’d like.

We’ll email you back to confirm the extra(s) and we’ll add them to your booking before sending you a payment link.

We kindly ask that guests leave their hut as clean and tidy as they find them. We supply everything you need to keep your hut clean during your stay. In the kitchen you’ll find washing-up liquid and all the extra bits needed to clean up after yourselves.

We ask guests to clean their huts before they leave as it is respectful and helps us to keep them in great condition.

Please leave all towels in the bathroom and all bedding on the beds. Our cleaning team will do the rest.

Any huts left in a poor condition may be subject to a charge.

Two of our huts are designed for families to come and stay and include a double bed, as well as two children’s bunkbeds.

Multiple huts can be booked together.

Visit our Pick A Hut page to find out what is inside our huts. Each hut has: • A double bed • Bunkbeds (2 single beds) with the top bunk able to fold away to create a single bed and/or sofa • Dining table and 2 chairs with the table able to fold away • Kitchenette with microwave-oven, 2 hobs, hot running water in a butler sink, fridge with icebox, kettle, toaster, Nescafe coffee machine. We provide all the cutley and utensils needed too. • Yorkshire Tea, Nescafe Coffee, Milk & Sugar • En-suite with shower, sink, mirror, toilet and heated towel rail • Underfloor heating and radiators with smart temperature control • Smart TV and free WIFI • LED lighting inside and out • Power sockets • Double glazed windows and door with blackout blind curtains

All our huts have their own private, limestone gravel outside space to the front and side of the hut. There are tables and chairs outside.

If you would like extra chairs, let us know.

Firewood and charcoal can be stored in the wooden boot box next to the hut steps.

There’s a fire pit on each patio with a poker and grill. It costs £10 for a charcoal pack which includes everything you need to light the fire pit BBQ.

Note – Guests are not allowed to use their own wood, charcoal or fire-lighting equipment.

Yes, let us know if you would like a baby cot and we will make sure it is in your hut when you arrive. This is complimentary.

All our huts come with free WiFi so you can stay connected and we usually have pretty good mobile signal from the farm, so getting in touch with your nearest and dearest (or your boss!) shouldn’t be too hard.

Why not try a digital detox though? Great for the body, soul and mind.

Fire Logs - £10

Enjoy a firepit with hardwood fire logs fresh from the farm.

Our logs are 100% hardwood with a moisture content of less than 20%, ensuring maximum heat output with less smoke and are perfect for making a roaring fire under the night’s sky at Hollow Gill Huts.

You can purchase this from us at any point during your stay, so if you want to keep warm on your patio, buy a bag before you arrive on our booking system or let us know at any point during your stay.
